Rob Kardashian skips his sister's wedding

Rob Kardashian reportedly skipped his sister's wedding to US rapper Kanye West because he didn't want his weight gain to be captured in family pictures.

According to TMZ, the 27-year-old Kardashian has become "so insecure and depressed about his appearance" that he opted out of the extravagant occasion just to avoid being photographed. 

His family reportedly tried to encourage him to stay and were "heartbroken" when he decided to fly back to Los Angeles direct from Paris on Saturday (May 25).

This comes after reports claim that Rob, Kim's only brother, deemed the celebrations "superficial bulls***".

A source told X17: "Rob said he was sickened by Kim and Kanye's display of wealth and clothes and beauty and called it 'superficial bulls***' but Kim was pissed that Rob hadn't made an effort to drop any weight over the past few months.

"Rob basically thinks Kim cares about him only for his appearance and he said he'd 'make life easier' for her and just leave."

Rob has apparently put on about 45 kg since late last year. He initially put on 18 kg after he broke up with British singer-songwriter Rita Ora in December last year but is reported to have since put on another 27 kg.
