WATCH: Big Bang's Seungri in car accident
Big Bang's youngest member Lee Seung-hyun, better known as Seungri, met with a serious accident at about 3am on Friday.
He was in his Porsche and was on the Gangbyeon Expressway in Dongbu Ichon-dong in Seoul, according to the Korean Herald.
Video footage shows the sports car flipping onto its side after the 23-year-old star cut from the extreme left lane to the extreme right ultimately ramming into the back of a Mercedes-Benz.
His car was stuck to the back of the Mercedes-Benz as it swerved uncontrollably before it was flung back to the extreme left lane.
The high performance vehicle then hit the road barrier and subsequently flipped onto its side.

Seungri had earlier attended a fashion brand's launch party at Club Octagon in Gangnam.
YG Entertainment officials said that the accident was not a result of drunk driving.
The South Korean authorities stated that they "found no signs of alcohol involved and were investigating whether or not the accident was a result of the K-pop star driving over the speed limit", Korean Herald reported.
At the scene, Seungri claimed that he was "not injured" and opted not to go to the hospital.
But YG Entertainment later released a statement that he would be admitted for a full check-up, the report said.
"The final test results showed no fractures, but did find some mild bleeding in the liver, so he is being hospitalised...(Seungri) is expected to be in the hospital for about one week for treatment and recovery," said a YG Entertainment representative.
Seungri was scheduled to appear with the rest of the band in Singapore on Friday night for a press conference at Resorts World Sentosa and on Saturday at the much-anticipated YG family concert.

As expected, the young star didn't appear at the press conference, and representatives said that he will not perform on Saturday as well.
This is the second accident involving K-pop stars this month.
Last Wednesday (Sept 3), Ladies' Code singer EunB, 21, was killed in a car accident.
A second member of the quintet, Rise, 23, also died after being in a critical condition for days.
