WATCH: Labelled a diva, Ariana Grande defends herself
It was quite a bumpy start to the Australian leg of her tour after she arrived in Sydney on Monday (Sept 8) to promote her latest album My Everything.
The 21-year-old singer was rumoured to have left the first shoot of the day because she wasn't pleased with how she was looking on camera, The West Australian reported.
Not long after, Grande's entourage sent the rest of the photographers home empty-handed after they and reporters had to wait for an hour in a hotel room.
The Bang Bang singer eventually appeared wearing a short navy and gold sequinned skirt and black top as she politely greeted everybody in the room, the publication reported.
Grande later addressed the issue saying "it does suck" for her to be in the situation although the rumours were "totally untrue and annoying."
But she wasn't about to go down without a fight.
Grande confronted and destroyed, during a radio interview with jocks Mike E and Emma on the Australian radio station 96.1, the "diva" label that she was given almost as soon as she arrived.
Check out this video and see what she has to say about her behaviour:
We can't decide. Do you think she's a diva?
