Cat saves young boy from vicious dog attack
A family cat named Tara in California has become the toast of the internet by saving four-year-old boy, Jeremy Triantafilo from an unprovoked attack by a dog.
In the dramatic surveillance video which was uploaded on YouTube by his father Roger Triantafilo, the boy was playing on his bicycle when a dog came and attacked him from behind.
The feline then appears out of nowhere, pushes the dog off the small boy and chases it away.
Who knows what would have happened if the super feline hadn't put it's paw into the matter.
Local news outlet, 23 ABC news reported that Jeremy's mother Mrs Erika Triantafilo said that she was nearby watering a tree when she heard the screams of her son.
Mrs Triantafilo told 23 ABC that as a result of her cat's intervention, all Jeremy needed was a couple of stitches.
Little Jeremy declared to 23 ABC: "Tara is my hero".
