New Face 2015: Lee Qian Hui

Lee Qian Hui hates tardiness.

“During the first few dates with my boyfriend, I was so angry at him for being late for 15 minutes that I refused to speak to him for a good half an hour,” said the 23-year-old graduate from Nanyang Technological University.

She tries her best to be early or on time to any of her appointments.

Qian Hui is also quite a worrier.

“I tend to think further ahead than I should. I live in the future so much that at times I might appear absentminded in the present.”

But if you see her frowning, it doesn’t mean she is worried.

She explained: “My resting frowning face makes me look worried all the time, though I might be thinking of happy thoughts.”

Qian Hui is not without self-deprecating humour.

When asked to share an interesting fact about herself, she said: “I looked like ‘Harry Potter’ in primary school.”
