UK model gets taxpayers to fund her cab rides
Infamous British model Josie Cunningham just loves being at the heart of controversy.
Her latest one is over taking tax-payer funded taxis...because she's "too hated" to take the bus.
Here's a wrap-up of how she turns people against her:
Controversy #1
Cunningham became infamous last year after revealing she used taxpayers' money to fund her breasts enlargement operation - from a 32A to 36DD.
UK's National Health Service reportedly paid £5,000 (S$10,600) for the operation, which Ms Cunningham says was justified because of the emotional distress she had suffered from having small breasts, reported Mail Online.
She has no breast tissue because of a medical condition.
The NHS also paid for her Botox to cure excessive sweating (£1,500) and dental care (£2,500), Mirror reported.
Controversy #2
The 23-year-old was in the news again when she announced she was thinking of getting them removed to the tune of £1,600. (And yes, she wanted NHS to pay for that as well.)
Controversy #3
And again when she wanted to have an abortion. Why? To increase her chances of appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, The Huffigton Post reported. (She later changed her mind.)
Controversy #4
Now, the pregnant mother-of-two has sparked outrage by revealing she's using taxpayers' money to fund her cab rides.
The Leeds City Council is forking out £150 a week so that she can take her kids to school. That works out to about £6,000 a year, Mail Online reported.
Why? Because she thinks she's too infamous to use the bus, Mirror reported. Her kids were missing school because she couldn't bring herself to take the bus.
The Sun quoted her as saying: ‘Why should I foot the bill when it’s the public who cause me so much discomfort? I’m too well recognised and the amount of hate I receive makes it impossible to get public transport.’
It's almost as if Ms Cunningham wants to be hated.
She is the source of the information of every controversy surrounding her.
And it doesn't look like she means to stop any time soon.
Well, Ms Cunningham, if you want us to dislike you, mission accomplished.
