Video: Speedboat goes airborne and flips before crashing
Ever seen a boat airborne? Well, you're about to.
A speedboat in Missouri went up in the air and flipped over last weekend when the crew lost control of it during a boat race.
At least a hundred spectators were terrified as they watched the boat flip over twice before plunging back into the water.
The two-man crew were injured but the driver has since been released from hospital.
Michael Fiore, who was the throttle man, is still in hospital and is in critical but stable condition. It was reported that he had several broken bones.
Fiore is the president and CEO of Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats.
It was also reported that wind interference caused the boat to go out of control.
The following TV news report shows another angle on the accident.
