What kind of father gets his son to pose with a severed head?
A twisted Australian terrorist has posted a Twitter photo of his son holding a severed head of a Syrian soldier.
Khaled Sharrouf, who is one of Australia's most wanted terrorists, posted it with a seemingly innocuous caption "That's my boy!".
The implication of that caption is the shocking parenting that his three children are going through, being brainwashed to believe what their father is doing is right.
Sharrouf himself is seen in his posts holding two severed heads.
The images have shocked the world and been published in online editions of newspapers around the world.
Australian PM: ISIL is barbaric
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott pointed out that this image exemplifies the "barbaric" nature of the Islamic State of Syria and the Levant (ISIL), a terrorist organisation.
Sharrouf is believed to have left Sydney to fight in Syria with ISIL, an al-Quaeda off-shoot terror group.
The 30-year-old father who has two other young sons also posted a photo of himself holding the head of the same slain soldier.
He also posted photos of three of his sons holding guns and pistols while dressed in military fatigues.
Sharrouf has been actively calling out for other Muslims in Australia to join the fight in the Middle East by posting similar photos on Twitter.
Out of jail
He was among nine Muslim men accused in 2007 of stockpiling bomb-making materials and plotting terrorist attacks in Australia's largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne, reported CBC news..
He pleaded guilty to terrorism offences and was sentenced in 2009 to four years' jail.
Australian police announced last month that they had arrest warrants for Sharrouf and his companion Mohamed Elomar, another former Sydney resident, for "terrorism-related activity."
