Kagawa to miss Brazil friendly in Singapore
Shinji Kagawa will not be travelling to Singapore for Japan's friendly against Brazil on Oct 14, after being injured during Japan's 1-0 friendly win over Jamaica in Niigata on Friday,
The Borussia Dortmund man earned a recall to the Blue Samurai and was set to fly here to face Brazil at the new National Stadium after missing out on coach Javier Aguirre's first squad with a concussion.
Nikkansports.com reported that the 25-year-old felt dizzy after taking an elbow to the jaw.
The Japanese sports website said that Kagawa received the blow in the first half of the match and while he managed to play on, the midfielder later complained of dizziness.
Other media reports said he displayed concussion-like symptoms after the match.
