Amos Yee agrees to make his video on Lee Kuan Yew private
Teenage blogger Amos Yee Pang Sang was given new bail conditions during his pre-trial conference on Friday (April 17).
The 16-year-old has to make private his YouTube video on former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew which he posted on March 27.
He also has to make private his March 28 blog post which contained an obscene image.
Amos must also take down a blog post and two Facebook entries which he had put up on April 14. This includes his crowdfunding appeal.
The teenager has to report to Bedok Police Division at 9am daily.
Amos has accepted all the conditions. He was offered court bail of $20,000.
On March 31, Amos was charged with one count each of transmitting an obscene picture electronically, and uploading content online which contained remarks against Christianity.
He was also charged under the Protection of Harassment Act. He is accused of posting an insulting video clip online containing remarks about Mr Lee.
