1925: SINGAPORE HOST THEIR FIRST MALAYA CUP FINAL AT THE NOW-DEFUNCT ANSON ROAD STADIUM, WHERE THEY BEAT SELANGOR 2-1 FOR THEIR FOURTH TITLE IN FIVE YEARS.
1927: SELANGOR THRASH SINGAPORE 8-1 IN KL WITH THE BIGGEST MALAYSIA CUP WINNING MARGIN.
1928-29: WITH BACK-TO-BACK 2-2 DRAWS BETWEEN SINGAPORE AND SELANGOR, THESE ARE THE ONLY TWO EDITIONS WHERE THE MALAYSIA CUP IS SHARED.

1977: THE LIONS END A 12-YEAR WAIT FOR THE TROPHY AS THEY WIN THE MALAYSIA CUP UNDER LEGENDARY COACH CHOO SENG QUEE, BEATING PENANG 3-2 IN EXTRA-TIME VIA QUAH KIM SONG'S WINNER.
1980: FANDI AHMAD, ONLY 17 YEARS OLD THEN, SCORES THE WINNER IN SINGAPORE'S 2-1 WIN OVER SELANGOR TO REGAIN THE CUP.
1982-84: SINGAPORE ARE LEFT OUT OF THE MALAYSIA CUP DUE TO MATCH-FIXING ALLEGATIONS IN THE 1981 FINAL, WHICH SINGAPORE LOST 4-0 TO SELANGOR. THE OMISSION SPARKS A LIONS EXODUS AS FANDI AND CO. JOIN MALAYSIAN TEAMS.
1992: SINGAPORE ARE RELEGATED TO THE SECOND DIVISION OF THE M-LEAGUE.
1993: THE LIONS BOUNCE BACK TO WIN PROMOTION TO THE TOP TIER, BUT LOSE TO KEDAH 2-0 IN THE MALAYSIA CUP FINAL.
1994: SINGAPORE WIN THE M-LEAGUE AND MALAYSIA CUP DOUBLE. LED BY CAPTAIN FANDI, THEY THRASH PAHANG 4-0 IN THE CUP FINAL TO REGAIN THE CROWN THEY LAST WON 14 YEARS AGO.
JULY 2011: FAS PRESIDENT ZAINUDIN NORDIN SIGNS A FOUR-YEAR PARTNERSHIP (2012-2015) WITH THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION OF MALAYSIA (FAM) FOR SINGAPORE TO RETURN TO MALAYSIAN FOOTBALL COMPETITIONS.
2012: THE LIONSXII FINISH SECOND BEHIND KELANTAN IN THE MALAYSIAN SUPER LEAGUE AND SUFFER A HEATBREAKING PENALTY SHOOT-OUT DEFEAT BY ATM FA IN THE MALAYSIA CUP SEMI-FINALS.
2013: LED BY SHAHRIL ISHAK, BAIHAKKI KHAIZAN, HARISS HARUN, IZWAN MAHBUD AND SAFUWAN BAHARUDIN, THE LIONSXII WIN THE MSL.
2014: FANDI ENDURES A TOUGH START AS LIONSXII COACH. WITHOUT SHAHRIL, BAIHAKKI AND HARISS, THE TEAM FINISH EIGHTH AND FAIL TO QUALIFY FOR THE MALAYSIA CUP KNOCK-OUT ROUNDS.
MAY 2015: THE LIONSXII IMPROVE SIGNIFICANTLY AND WIN THE FA CUP BY BEATING KELANTAN IN FRONT OF 80,000 FANS AT THE BUKIT JALIL STADIUM.
NOV 24, 2015: THE FAM ANNOUNCES IT WILL NOT RENEW THE PARTNERSHIP WITH FAS AND THE LIONSXII ARE KICKED OUT OF MALAYSIAN FOOTBALL COMPETITIONS.
