Sports Hub set for Play Day 3
The Sports Hub Community Play Day is back for its third edition this year and it will take place in the OCBC Arena.
All six halls at the venue will be filled with family-friendly sporting activities tomorrow for the Hub's Community Play Day 3 to engage around 10,000 participants in different sports.
Participants will also have the chance to interact with national athletes, including shuttler Derek Wong, silat exponent Muhammad Shakir and para-athlete Andy Lee.
Guest-of-honour Grace Fu, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, will join in a Christmas Zumba warm-up session, as well as interact with the athletes and participate in sports like silat and wheelchair badminton.
A wide range of different sports will be offered to the public, including activities like yoga-lates, bolly Aerobics, chess and para games.
There will also be activities for the more artistic crowd at the lobby, including handicraft Christmas photobooths, balloon sculpting and caricature.
There will also be a carnival, along with try-out sessions for junior athletes as well as para-athletes. While admission is free, registration is required for the different activities. Interested participants may register at http://www.sportshub.com.sg/community/Pages/CommunityPlayDay.aspx
