Nena, whose dad is German and mum Chinese Singaporean, was born and raised in Germany but moved to Singapore last year after completing the equivalent of A levels
She said: "I immediately packed my things and came to Singapore, the country my mother grew up in. Now I've completely shifted my life, not only to an exciting new country but to a whole different continent and culture."
Describe one interesting fact about yourself.
I've been blessed to have travelled to over 30 countries. My parents are into travelling and backpacking. They met while travelling.
I've benefited a lot from that. Having seen so many different cultures, ethnicities and places, I've learnt that no matter how diverse people are, in the end, they still want and care about the same things.
If your home were on fire, what would you save if you could choose only one item?
If we go beyond items like passport and money - which are painful to lose but can be replaced - it would be a box of letters and cards my friends and family gave me. So much love and thought went into crafting them, how could I not save them?
What was the last concert you went to?
The Formula 1 night race last year. I saw Maroon 5 and Bon Jovi , and it was incredible. There was a huge crowd and the performances were really fun. I will never forget that.
Where is your favourite place to go to in Singapore?
I love the view of the Marina Bay area at night. Coming from Clenze, a village in Germany with only about 2,000 inhabitants and with cows as my neighbours, the architecture of the Sands and the Art Science Museum are really fascinating and futuristic to me. It's also quite romantic to take a walk there.
