Striker Daniel Sturridge’s injury nightmare continues after a foot problem ruled him of a return to action during Liverpool’s 2-1 Friday morning (Singapore time) Europa League win over Bordeaux.  

In almost three years at the club, Sturridge has missed almost as many matches (68) as he has made appearances (70). Last season, he started only nine matches.

News of his latest injury has set social media abuzz, as netizens mock the injury-prone 26-year-old.
