Kean to make a good impression
New coach on the block Steve Kean has made it clear that he is aiming for the top of the Great Eastern-Yeo's S.League in his maiden season.
The former Blackburn Rovers manager knows that along with his resume comes high expectations, but he isn't intimidated.
He said: "With the experience I have, and the foreign signings we added to the squad, there is obviously a lot of expectations from the owners and fans, but I wouldn't call it pressure."
"We have to put demands on ourselves to deliver good performances and good results. "That's our job."
Captain Rosmin Kamis, much like his teammates, has enjoyed working with the new coach.
The 32-year-old said: "He's great to work with. He brings something different to the team that we haven't had before, so we're looking forward to getting into the season with him."
The Bruneian outfit have signed several new imports.
They are Bosnian defender Boris Raspudic, Croatian midfielder Roberto Alviz and Irish attacking pair Joe Gamble and Roy O'Donovan.
O'Donovan also brings with him Premier League experience, having played for Sunderland from 2007 to 2010.
SETTLED IN
Rosmin said: "The foreign players have settled in quickly and seem to love the pace of life here so it's a promising sign ahead of the new campaign."
With the player reinforcements and a high-profile coach, DPMM hope to excel in all competitions.
Said Kean: "The team have a good mixture of young and experienced players, and I hope to bring out the best in the lads throughout the season."

BRUNEI DPMM
l BEST-CASE SCENARIO Finishing in the top two. If we can fight all the way for the title, that would be great too, but a top-two finish is good enough for me.
l WORST-CASE SCENARIO Finishing any lower than we did last season (8th).
l KEY MAN Shahrazen Said. Whether he starts or not, he always chips in with the goals.
l PREDICTION 2nd
