Cops reportedly investigating boyfriend of Whitney Houston's daughter

Bobbi Kristina Brown comes from a famous family.

But the only child of late songstress Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown made headlines under tragic circumstances - when she was found unconscious in a bathtub last month.

As she remains in a medically-induced coma in Georgia, websites like TMZ are reporting that officials have launched a criminal probe.

And Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon is among the police targets for questioning.

Referring to law enforcement sources, TMZ said:

"Bobbi Kristina had certain injuries that have piqued their interest. We do not know the nature of the injuries.

"Multiple sources tell TMZ there is a history of violence between Bobbi Kristina and boyfriend Nick Gordon."

Police reportedly are investigating possible foul play.

Gordon and a friend found her in the tub at her Roswell, Georgia, home on Jan 31. She survived, but remains in a medically induced coma. 

Her mother died three years ago in a bathtub. Houston had taken Gordon in when he was aged 11, raising him and her daughter together. 

In the meantime, the series of events that led to Brown’s hospitalisation and the ensuing criminal investigation remain unclear.
