Jennifer Lopez returns for first-ever Bronx concert
J.Lo made a long-awaited return to her old neighbourhood for a free concert on Wednesday.
The pop diva may love to talk about riding the 6 train in the Bronx, but somehow she never found the time to play a full show there before, reported New York Daily News.
Jenny from the block stunned the crowd in a shimmering emerald green dress (below), which paid homage to her legendary 2000 Grammy dress by Versace
Jennifer Lopez opened with "Same Girl," and closed with "Jenny From The Block", which was her attempt to sell herself as just another girl from the Bronx.
But J.Lo happens to be one of the world's most beautiful women, with a fortune that makes her one of the richest female celebs.
Lopez ran through every one of her zippy hits, as well as some tracks from her upcoming album, "A.K.A.," out on June 17.
"Don't you just love Bronx summers? It's a dream come true," she gushed at one point during the 90-minute concert, according to the New York Daily News.
