Dumped by label for album flop?
Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly been dropped by her record label following disappointing sales of her second album.
The 36-year-old US singer has been let go by RCA after Big Fat Lie struggled to get a foothold on the UK album chart.
The album, which was released last year, only managed to stay in the top 100 for just two weeks.
A source told The Sun: "There is a feeling that Nicole didn't get the support she needed on the release to make it a success. Fans have been grumbling that they didn't think the right singles were released by the label."
She had hoped for chart success with the album after collaborating with a string of top producers such as will.i.am, Dallas Austin and Beyonce collaborator Toby Gad.
This bad news comes after a difficult year for Scherzinger, who officially called it quits with her on-off boyfriend, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, in February.
