Lena Dunham: Kanye West's video 'disturbing'

Celebrities are hitting back at US rapper Kanye West's controversial new music video for his song Famous.

It depicts the likeness of several personalities like Taylor Swift, Donald Trump and Rihanna naked and in bed with West, 39 and his US reality TV star wife Kim Kardashian.

US actress Lena Dunham, 30, a good friend of Swift's, condemned the gender stereotypes and objectification in the "disturbing" video in a post on Facebook.

"Now I have to see the prone, unconscious, waxy bodies of famous women, twisted like they've been drugged and chucked aside at a rager? It gives me such a sickening sense of dis-ease," she wrote.

US rapper Ray J, 35, who used to date Kardashian and is one of the featured celebs, told Entertainment Tonight that his fiancee is "tripping", adding that his "marriage is all messed up 'cause of craziness".

Lil Wayne in brawl with bouncer

US rapper Lil Wayne, 33, has been accused of assaulting a nightclub bouncer after the BET Awards on Sunday.

TMZ reported that the victim filed a police report, claiming that Lil Wayne, who was co-hosting the bash with US rapper 2 Chainz, punched him in the face.

The report stated that "Wayne and the bouncer started arguing" when some members of Lil Wayne's entourage were turned away from a party. The bouncer reportedly had minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

However, TMZ also reported that Lil Wayne denied punching the bouncer. A source said there was a "brief altercation, but only because the bouncer mistakenly grabbed Wayne by the arm", and that the bouncer apologised later.

Chris Brown sued over club shooting

US rapper Chris Brown, 27, is reportedly being sued by US rap mogul Suge Knight over an incident at a party at 1Oak nightclub in August 2014, in which Knight was shot seven times.

In the lawsuit documents filed on Monday, Knight stated that he believes Brown - the host of the event - did not hire enough security, which is how an armed person was allowed into the club.

Knight, 51, is currently awaiting trial over a January 2015 incident where he ran over two men - one of whom died - and drove away.

His attorneys said his fear after being shot at 1Oak caused him to flee after running over the two men who had reportedly attacked him in his car.
