Get hynoptised by Lana Del Rey's haunting yet beautiful new single Freak
LANA DEL REY - FREAK
Freak is bizarre and beautiful. You do not quite understand what is going on, but it is still haunting and hypnotic, just like Del Rey's dreamy voice.
In the video, the US singer and folk rocker Father John Misty laze in the countryside. She drinks Mountain Dew and the two get intimate. It ends with an extended scene of her and some girls frolicking underwater as Claude Debussy's classical piece Clair de Lune plays in the background.
GWEN STEFANI - MAKE ME LIKE YOU
The US singer, frontwoman of No Doubt, became the first musician to shoot a music video on live television when she filmed it for her new single during a commercial break at the recent Grammy Awards.
It is amazing how she pulled off such a technical feat. In the colourful clip, the mum of three goes from flipping a magazine at a hair salon and riding a motorbike to lounging at a bar named Blake's (a clear nod to her new beau, country star and fellow The Voice coach Blake Shelton) and roller-skating at a rink. All under four minutes, too.
NICK CARTER - 19 IN 99
US boy band Backstreet Boys member Carter is blatantly milking nostalgia for what it is worth - not that we mind.
19 in 99 sees him playing a strait-laced dad who decides to skip his family outing to relive his glorious teenage days in the 90s. He mixes cereal with honey and chocolate sauce, brings out a boombox to blast hip-hop tunes and plays video games while wolfing down popcorn. Bandmate A.J. McLean has a cameo as a pizza delivery guy.
