Shooting victims tribute at Teen Choice

US actress Jessica Alba led an emotional tribute to gun violence victims at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards held on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old stood on stage together with family members of the recent victims of the gun violence tragedies in the US.

She said: "It keeps happening, and it has to stop. Many of those impacted by these acts of violence are teens."

US R&B singer Ne-Yo, 36, joined Alba on stage and performed his rendition of What's Going On by Marvin Gaye.

He said: "We need to come together as one. If you feel as we do that we have to do better, I need you to stand up right now and take out your phones."

He instructed the audience to share the moment on social media, using the hashtag #StopTheViolence.

US singer Josh Groban and US actress Kat Dennings have broken up after almost two years of dating.

A source told E! News: "It was a mutual breakup. They are still friends and care about each other, but it's not the right time for them now as a couple."

Groban, 35, had previously gushed to US television host Ellen DeGeneres last May on her talk show about Dennings, 30: "She's such a brilliant and funny person. Humour is such a huge thing for me, so the fact that we could talk about Monty Python and all sorts of weird other things, I was like, 'OK, yeah, we're on the same page'."
