Blogger to star in TV special
Local blogger Xiaxue will soon be featured on the small screen.
The controversial 32-year-old, whose real name is Wendy Cheng, will star in her own E! Asia reality TV show Wendy Vs The World.
The one-off special follows Ms Cheng as she makes nightclub appearances with her friends, to Botox bonding sessions with her mother and raising her three-year-old son Dashiel with her American husband Mike Sayre.
"E! is excited to feature such a buzzworthy Singaporean talent," said Mr Scott Mackenzie, vice-president of Channels, Asia at NBCUniversal International Networks.
"Love her or hate her, Wendy's unique brand of wit and brutal honesty will surely entertain viewers across the region."
The special will premiere on Sept 20 at 10pm on E! (Singtel TV Ch 328/Starhub Ch 441).
In 2006, Ms Cheng co-hosted TV series Girls Out Loud with radio DJ Rosalyn Lee on Mediacorp's Channel 5.
