Movie Review: Go Lala Go 2 (PG13)
Chinese directors should seriously stop doing movies about professional women striving to balance their love lives and careers. It's way too passé.
Go Lala Go 2, the sequel to 2010's hit rom-com Go Lala Go! features an entirely new cast.
It follows the misadventures of human resources manager Du Lala (Ariel Lin) as she steps into her dreaded 30s.
Du has been dating her photographer beau Wang Wei (Vic Chou) for a few years but the latter is not ready for marriage.
Their relationship becomes rocky when successful businessman Chen Feng (Chen Bolin) enters the picture and starts wooing Du.
Fluffy and peppered with lots of cheesy, cringeworthy dialogue, the film is mildly entertaining at best.
Rating: 2/5
