Armed 'superhero' hauled off train by cops
Australians clearly aren't that familiar with their superheroes - or anti-heroes, in this case.
It was a regular morning rush hour commute to work in Sydney for Reuben Rose - except he was dressed up as Marvel Comics' X-Men character Deadpool.

Unfortunately for Rose, who had donned the costume for a charity event called Superhero Week, his fellow commuters weren't as big on comic books as he was and called the police when they saw his prop guns, bullets and katanas.
Police arrived on the scene and stormed the train, hauling Rose onto the platform before realising that his weapons and ammunition were fake.
After telling him to pack his gear in a bag, police let Rose off without any further incident, allowing him to get to work.

Since the incident was reported on The Daily Telegraph in Australia, Rose has received a boost in donations on his Superhero Week page, with the proceeds going to children's hospice Bear Cottage.
For those of you who don't know who Deadpool is, he's known as the Merc with a Mouth for his non-stop talking and breaking the fourth wall (that is, he occasionally addresses readers.)
Originally an X-Men villain who worked for the highest bidder, Deadpool now puts his mercenary skills and healing factor to use as an anti-hero in the Marvel Universe.
