Woman sends death threats over trampled plant

This article is more than 12 months old

She saw red when her neighbour's relative trampled on her plant.

In fact, she got so upset that she demanded — and got — RM50 (S$17.88) compensation.

But the 50-year-old woman in Puchong, Selangor, wasn't appeased. The angry woman even issued death threats against her 45-year-old neighbour, Harian Metro reported.

The incident happened earlier this week, when the neighbour was mourning her eldest son's death.

Many friends and relatives came to pay their last respects and that was when one of them accidentally stepped on the plant.

Newspaper The Star quoted police sources saying:

“The angry woman screamed at her neighbour and demanded compensation for her trampled plant."

To avoid further misunderstanding, the neighbour paid the woman compensation and thought the issue was over.

However, the woman’s son came over that night and attacked her.

The neighbour lodged a police report when she started receiving death threats from the woman.
