2 taken to hospital after crash

Five cars and a Malaysian bus were involved in an accident at the Woodlands Checkpoint early yesterday morning. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the accident at 4.30am. A woman in her 60s and a man in his 50s were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. The cars involved are understood to be Singapore-registered. Police are investigating.
