It’s raining but you don’t have an umbrella? Not a problem.

A teenage girl in Boon Lay was spotted on Saturday (Feb 4) offering shelter to strangers without an umbrella during a downpour.

In a TikTok video posted by user lisaspam.sg, the girl is seen holding up an umbrella for those without one, ferrying them to nearby HDB blocks.

Towards the end of the video, the girl acknowledged that she was helping those without their umbrellas cross the road, when asked by Lisa, who posted the video.

@lisaspam.sg she offered me too, but my son came to fetch me. Amazing young lady. #fyp #gooddeeds #goodpeople #helpful #raining #angelamongstus ♬ AMAZING - Phoebe

Many netizens praised the girl for her selfless act, with some even suggesting she be nominated for an award.

For now, she has at least received a shoutout on the Singapore Kindness Movement’s Facebook page for “going the extra mile to brighten up people’s day”.
