Woman offers cosmetic surgery from Sengkang flat at 'half-price'
She charges half the price of what qualified plastic surgeons charge for double-eyelid surgery.
But engage her services at your own risk.
Not only is she unlicensed, the surgery takes place on her living room couch in an HDB flat in Sengkang.
Last week, a reader tipped off The New Paper (TNP) about the woman’s advertisements on messaging app WeChat, promoting her cosmetic services.
Several pictures on her account showed before-and-after photos of her clients, including videos of her allegedly performing Botox injections, filler jabs and double-eyelid surgery.
TNP set up an appointment with the woman, who claimed to be a “nurse” from China, posing as an interested client and confirmed that such procedures were taking place in the flat.
However, when a different reporter returned to confront her the next day, she declined to comment and directed the reporter’s queries to her husband.
Her husband, a Singaporean construction site manager who wanted to be known only as Kelvin, 46, denied that his wife was conducting cosmetic procedures at home.
