Surprise! Bride gets her own flash mob wedding
Flash mob proposals? So passe.
Come 2015, could we be looking at the year of flash mob weddings?
For unsuspecting bride Christina McGinnis, that was exactly what happened.
She did not know she was about to get married - even when groom Brian Green got family and friends to turn up for a surprise wedding.
Tricked into wearing a wedding gown, McGinnis initially thought she was helping out for her photographer friend's bridal shoot at a mall in Georgia, US. But McGinnis' father surprised her by appearing in a suit, then telling her what was happening.
Thankfully, she loved the surprise.
Wedding-planning was too frustrating
Green said that they had found the wedding-planning process too expensive and frustrating.
He said:
"It took away the purpose and excitement of being married. The wedding is just the ceremony.
"The marriage is what's important, so I just wanted to focus on the marriage."
