7-year-old believed to have fallen from 9th floor
The body of a seven-year-old was found face-down at the foot of a Tampines Avenue 4 block on Saturday.
He is believed to have fallen from his home, a five-room flat on the ninth floor.
A police spokesman said they received a call for assistance at about 1pm.
Paramedics pronounced the boy dead upon their arrival.
He was dressed in a yellow top and black shorts. A pool of blood formed around his head.
A neighbour told The New Paper on Sunday (TNPS) that the boy had special needs and went to a special needs school
No weapon used
TNPS understands that the boy’s injuries are consistent with a fall from height, and that there was no indication that a weapon was involved.
It is believed that foul play, including murder, has not been ruled out, but no arrests have been made.
