R&B singer August Alsina collapses during concert in NYC
Fans were in shock after an August Alsina's concert ended abruptly.
The 22-year-old R&B singer-songwriter from New Orleans was performing at Irving Plaza in New York on Monday night (Sept 15) when he collapsed, E! Online reported.
Within seconds, security guards in the photo pit rushed to his aid and carried him from the venue.
Multiple fans who were recording the performance caught the footage of Alsina falling off the edge of the stage on camera and uploaded it to both YouTube and Instagram.
According to MTV, paramedics were spotted entering the venue to treat the No Love singer, who was taken out on a stretcher but was reportedly alert enough to wave to fans as he exited.
He is now warded.
The incident happened hours before the release of his latest music video to the No Love Remix, which he teamed up with US rapper Nicki Minaj.
In the meantime, there was no statement from his representatives on the cause of his collapse.
