A bear in China has bitten off the arm of a 9-year-old boy, said local media on Sunday.
The boy had tried to feed the bear through the cage on Saturday afternoon at the Pingdingshan Hebin Park in Henan province.
He had managed to squeeze his arm through the bear's cage when the bear bit him.
The doctor who treated the boy at the Pingdingshan Number 152 Hospital said Sunday that he lost his entire right arm, which had to be amputated.
