WATCH: M'sian cops hurt in hit-and-run forgive driver
The policemen were the victims in this alleged drink driving incident.
Both cops were injured — one suffered a cut to his right eye while the other hit the dashboard — when a student driver rear-ended their patrol car on Monday morning (June 22).
A clip shows the Volkswagen Polo slamming into the police car, a Proton Waja, as it was travelling on the left lane along Jalan Pudu in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The impact caused the patrol car to crash into the concrete divider after the vehicle spun.

Rakyat Post said the driver, a 21-year-old student, was arrested when he lodged a police report on the same day.
A breathalyser test reportedly revealed he had been driving under the influence.
Kpl Zainal said: “We were just talking in the car. I was checking my phone and then all of a sudden, BANG!”
Both cops have since forgiven the driver. Kpl Nor Alhayari, 58, said:
“We were not badly hurt. We have been injured much worse than this before. Luckily, the boy only hit us and not anyone else."
Recalling how quickly people came to help, he recalled: "One motorcyclist chased after the Volkswagen after he ran and another gave us his video of the accident to help in the investigation."
Despite their injuries, Kpl Zainal was back patrolling the streets on Thursday while his colleague Kpl Nor Alhayari was given medical leave.
The officers said the student was returning from a night club party the evening before the accident.
They chose to focus on the positives, saying: “He messaged us later that day to apologise, and we both accept."
The Volkswagen in question had already had three accidents before this. The student was charged on Friday.
