Man, 33, murdered at Senja Road flat
The body of a 33-year-old man was found in a 15th floor unit at Block 636B Senja Road early this morning (Aug 31).
Police were responding to a call for help from a person believed to be related to the deceased.
Paramedics pronounced the Chinese man dead at the scene at 1.19am.
The victim is believed to have been slashed and stabbed.
A 26-year-old woman, who is believed to be related, was arrested in connection with the case.
Police said she will be charged in court on Tuesday (Sept 1), although the statement did not specify the exact charge.
When The New Paper arrived at the block at about 2.20am, part of the corridor on the 15th floor had been cordoned off by police.
Forensic officers were seen examining lift doors, ledges and a rubbish chute on the same floor.
A forensics team was seen processing the unit while a few officers stood guard outside.
An open area about 50m away from the block was also cordoned off and officers were spotted combing the area.
The case has been classified as murder.
