Chow takes more selfies at premiere
Hong Kong movie stars Chow Yun Fat and Aaron Kwok - as well as Taiwanese heart-throb Eddie Peng - greeted thousands of fans at the Cold War 2 gala premiere held at the skating rink at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands on Tuesday night.
The actors were here to promote their new police action thriller, which opens here tomorrow.
Chow, 61, and his Singaporean wife Jasmine walked the red carpet together and, as befitting his status of King of Selfies, managed to squeeze a few in for some lucky fans.
Earlier, Kwok, 50, and Peng, 34, were invited to judge an acting competition, which saw three finalists enacting a short scene from Cold War 2.
Waltz: Brexit an 'abysmal stupidity'
Two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz is the latest celeb to blast the Brexit vote and Nigel Farage stepping down as leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP).
"Of course the head rat would leave the sinking ship," the 59-year-old Austrian-German actor said when asked by Sky News about Farage's resignation.
"They tried to dress it up as a heroic exit - no, it's conceding defeat.
"It's putting the tail between their legs and - as rats do - leave the sinking ship, leave the mess for others to clean up and retreat into some profitable other business.
"That shows you how despicable these people are that they can't even stand up for what they caused."
Waltz was also clearly against the idea of Britain leaving the European Union.
"Oh, 100 per cent. A little too emotionally because I can't comprehend the abysmal stupidity," he said.
Cuoco sorry for Instagram 'mistake'
US actress Kaley Cuoco is sorry for posting a controversial photograph of her dogs sitting on the American flag on July 4, the US' Independence Day, admitting she "made a mistake".
She issued an apology on Instagram along with an image of a heart emblazoned with the stars and stripes.
Cuoco, 30, wrote: "I sincerely apologise to anyone that has been offended by my previous post... This in no way reflects my feelings toward what the American flag represents. Living in the public eye can be extremely difficult at times. Every mistake and every imperfection is amplified. I am not perfect. I am a proud American, today, tomorrow, always."
