Who's the German goalkeeper closing on a switch to WWE?
Trading the football pitch for the wrestling ring is not something most footballers think of doing when they hang up their boots.
However, that's exactly what former Germany international Tim Wiese is doing.
After being released by Hoffenheim in January following a nightmare spell at the German club, the 32-year-old free agent with six Die Mannschaft caps has been working out to keep his fitness.
Okay, maybe a little too much.
Offer
While it looks like his career as a footballer is over after putting on all that mass, Wiese has told German tabloid Bild that he has received an offer from the WWE to become a wrestler.
The ex-Werder Bremen veteran with more than 300 Bundesliga appearances under his belt said: "I have an official enquiry from the WWE. It's about working for them as a wrestler. I will listen.
"I don't s*** my pants. Why should I immediately say no? Wrestling is very popular, especially in the (United) States.
"I will go through the enquiry with my agent next week."
According to Bild, Wiese will spend a year in Orlando to train before spearheading the WWE's plans to expand into Germany.
Wiese was Germany's third-choice goalkeeper during the 2010 World Cup and rejected an approach from Real Madrid to be Iker Casillas' back-up in 2012 to sign for Hoffenheim.
