This Kobe Bryant statue is just... weird

Typically, a statue is one of the highest forms of flattery.

And Kobe Bryant's popularity in Taiwan definitely warrants a statue.

But... we're not quite sure what to make of this one.

1) Instead of him donning his famous Lakers jersey, he's not wearing anything at all. Yes, he's naked.

2) There is a black mamba snake wrapped around him.

3) It's digging its fangs into Bryant's left Achilles tendon. (P.S. Bryant injured that his tendon in April 2013 which kept him out of the first 19 games of the following season.)
