The New Paper SEA Games Challenge: Bowling
She was Singapore's most bemedalled athlete at the Incheon Asian Games last year, clinching a gold, two silvers and a bronze in bowling.
Me? I score 120 on the lanes on a very, very good day.
When I was asked to challenge kegler Jazreel Tan at her own game, I knew I had to do something to ensure that the challenge would be an interesting one and that it would be a competitive one.
But, mainly, I wanted to make sure that my pride will not be knocked down by a screaming 15-pound ball, like those poor pins at the end of the lane.
To even the odds, I proposed the following four-frame challenge to the 25-year-old - bowl the first frame with your left hand, the second with your right, the third blindfolded and the last between your legs.
It was something the Singapore Sports School alumnus has never done before. So, luckily for me, we were on pretty even ground there.
Did I manage to keep my pride intact, or does Jazreel have a secret talent in trick-shot bowling? Watch the challenge video on tnp.sg to find out.
