Movie Review: Mission Milano (PG13)
Seriously, what do you expect from Hong Kong director Wong Jing, better known as the master of crappy cinema?
Incessant inanity, of course.
Mission Milano is a slapstick action comedy about wealthy entrepreneur Luo Jiahao (Huang Xiaoming) joining forces with enthusiastic but hapless Interpol agent Hong Jingbao (Andy Lau) to protect an incredible new scientific invention, Seed Of God.
Together, the duo traverse the globe to prevent it from falling into the hands of an evil crime conglomerate led by femme fatale Diao Ye (Mao Junjie).
Filled with lowbrow humour and silly gags, Mission Milano is essentially 100 minutes of mindless entertainment - and an easy paycheck for Huang and Lau.
Verdict: 2/5
