Oxford Dictionary adds YOLO, side boob, amazeballs and more
If there is one key thing that separates the older and younger generations, it would be constantly changing Internet lingo.
But that's okay, because the folks behind the Oxford Dictionary are helping people keep up-to-date by adding a slew of new words to their notable collection of English words online.
The latest batch of words added to the online version of the dictionary include amazeballs, cray, YOLO, binge-watch, hate-watch, douchebaggery and more, reported Rolling Stone.
Let's check out nine examples of Oxford's newest definitions and dissections of these words.
Isn't this just amazeballs?! Let's bro hug while we humblebrag about knowing all of these words before the Oxford Dictionary folks made them 'official'.
But before you argue with your English teacher about using YOLO in your composition, be warned - these words haven't actually become part of the official Oxford English Dictionary, NBC News reported.
Words need to have a more historical and significant impact before they can officially be added to the tome.
In the meantime, what do the older folks reading this think about these new additions?
