Celebrate Easter with sweet treats, special brunch and more
The relaxation of Covid-19 rules came just in time for us to gather for an Easter feast.
You can buy some of these as take-outs so you can meet nine other friends for an open-air maskless picnic. Alternatively, gather nine vaccinated friends together for a meal.
The options have widened considerably, and it does feel like life has returned to normal.
For a picnic
Imagine sitting in a park eating chocolates.
If enjoying chocolates in a park is your ideal way to spend Easter Sunday, check out Godiva's limited-edition 2022 Spring Easter Collection.
The Spring Beaded Egg Carré ($99, 20 pieces) makes for a pretty gift, while the Spring Flower Tin G Cube ($45, 15 pieces) is romantic. The Spring Bunny Tin 7pcs ($55, seven pieces) will be fun for kids.
This range of beautiful gift boxes and truffles is available at Bugis Junction, ION Orchard, Raffles City, Suntec City, Takashimaya Shopping Centre, as well as online at godiva.com.sg.

Da Paolo Gastronomia
Easter is not complete without hot cross buns, and Da Paolo Gastronomia is selling them at $3.90 each for the month of April.
A hot cross bun is a spiced, sweet soft bread of English origins, with hints of orange zest and sweetness of rum-soaked sultanas.
They are available online at gastronomia-foodtoorder.dapaolo.com.sg or you can pick them up at any of the outlets.
Perfect for a picnic is Paul Singapore’s chocolate house, made of almond biscuits and gianduja mousse as well as a praline pastry roof decorated with marzipan.
This is part of the Eggs-tra Heapin’ Easter Bonanza ($120) set, which also contains mini savouries such as quail egg mayonnaise, ham & cheese quiche, mini croissant sandwiches and mini viennoiserie (9pcs).
