Contrary to the notion that showbiz stars live on salad and fresh air, many now dabble in food-related collaborations.
US actress Lindsay Lohan, 30, is the latest one to get cooking.
She will take culinary lessons on English celebrity TV chef Jamie Oliver's show, Jamie and Jimmy's Friday Night Feast, which he hosts with his farmer friend Jimmy Doherty.
Lohan posted on Instagram a photo from the forthcoming episode of the show, looking suitably domestic in a collared dress while Oliver, 41, cooked.
US actress Jessica Biel opened a kid-friendly organic restaurant, Au Fudge, in Los Angeles in March.
The 34-year-old, who has a 17-month-old son with her husband, US singer-actor Justin Timberlake, also offers kids' entertainment at Au Fudge, like arts and crafts and video games.
She told the Los Angeles Times: "You can call me snooty. You can call me elitist. Whatever you want.

US actor Freddie Prinze Jr. has written a new cookbook, Back To The Kitchen, with recipes relating to his days as a teen heart-throb in the 1990s.
For instance, the 40-year-old has a dish called Jerk Hens, inspired by "good times" with actor Dulé Hill, his co-star in the 1999 movie She's All That.
Prinze's actress-wife Sarah Michelle Gellar, who penned the foreword of the book, also has her own cooking and lifestyle brand Foodstirs.
Other celebs who've recently announced food-related ventures include US rapper Snoop Dogg, who will host new food TV show Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party with US lifestyle maven Martha Stewart.
US pop star Lady Gaga is co-writing a cookbook with her father based on his New York restaurant Joanne's Trattoria.
And US rapper Pharrell Williams is partnering gourmet grocer Dean & Deluca on a food product line based on his family's recipes.
