Where Is The Love? gets a makeover

The Black Eyed Peas are reuniting after a five-year hiatus for a good cause.

The US hip-hop group, comprising will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie, released an updated version of their 2003 hit Where Is The Love?, featuring a star-studded line-up including Justin Timberlake, Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky, Jamie Foxx, Jessie J, Jaden Smith, Shailene Woodley and more.

Aimed at reducing gun violence and hate crimes, the Black Eyed Peas explained why they re-imagined the song, which originally debuted as a response to 9/11.

The #WHERESTHELOVE music video is now available on iTunes.

Proceeds will go toward will.i.am's i.am.angel foundation which funds educational programmes and college scholarships.

Troubles with the law did not stop Chris Brown from releasing new music.

A day after being arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, the 27-year-old US R&B singer released What Would You Do? via his SoundCloud page on Wednesday.

The song features a typical Brown-against-the-world theme.

The father of one hinted about the new project on his Instagram, writing about his plans to "drop some music".

Brown was involved in a 10-hour stand-off with Los Angeles police at his home on Tuesday after a woman called 911, claiming he had allegedly threatened her with a gun.

He was released that same night after posting US$250,000 (S$341,000) bail.
