Photo taking frenzy at Orchard Road and Gardens by the Bay
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
People here are flooding their social media accounts with pretty shots of Christmas in Singapore. Among the hottest places for taking such pictures this year are the annual Orchard Road festive light-up and the Christmas Wonderland festival at Gardens by the Bay.
At Orchard Road, we spotted people from all over the world gawking at the multi-hued Christmas trees and glittering blue snowflakes lining the 2.2km shopping thoroughfare.
According to the Orchard Road Business Association, the many colours are a nod to Singapore's diversity.
Singapore-based Malaysian Chloe Lee, a 21-year-old administrator who was taking photos at Orchard Central with friends, said: "We like taking photos with decorations like these, they are so cute."
Over at the Gardens at Marina Bay, we spotted children playing with the foam "snowfall".
Parents snapped away as their kids scampered through the park, marvelling at the light sculptures.
