Bedok slasher charged in court
The man allegedly involved in Tuesday (July 21) morning's slashing in Bedok was charged in court on Thursday (July 23).
Sari Gujang, 27, was slapped with one count of voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
He is accused of attacking Mr Muhammad Rizuwan Zakaria at about 5am near Block 538 Bedok North Street 3.
Sari allegedly slashed Mr Muhammad Rizuwan's left palm, leaving a 10cm slash wound.
Dressed in a white polo shirt with tinted hair, Sari did not have a lawyer.
He has been offered bail of $20,000 but told the court he was unsure if his parents could afford bail.
Sari will next appear before the court on July 30.
