More music acts to perform at this weekend's Our Blocks Rock parties at Punggol
Get ready to groove with several bands and solo musicians this weekend.
The fourth round of the Our Blocks Rock parties will be held today and tomorrow from 2pm.
This time, more bands have been roped in to perform for Punggol residents and visitors.
Songwriter Alwyn Tay, 23, a part-time student at the School of Music and the Arts, will be performing his rendition of top 40 radio hits and a few oldies.
He will be joined by guitarist Evan Liao, 28, whom he met just two months ago at school.

Sotong Brothers from previous parties will also return and you can expect to see their deep-fried squid, chicken, calamari and shrimp, selling from $3.50 to $7.
Choose from the three flavours - curry, onion garlic, and hot and spicy.
Head of marketing for Sotong Brothers, Ms Adita Tian, 25, said: "The crowd was great last week. It will be our first time in Punggol, and it's a good thing to move around the neighbourhoods to gain exposure to more people."
Other returning food vendors include Yummy Takoyaki, Cold Shave and The Ugly Duckling.
Tingkat for first 100 guests
Collect a special tingkat today and tomorrow at the Our Blocks Rock parties at Punggol.
After the good response from the same giveaway last week in Yew Tee, a unique tingkat will be presented to the first 100 people who turn up at the event each day with the Our Blocks Rock article featured in The New Paper.
Redemption will start at 4pm on both days at the harmony pack redemption booth.
The tingkat, which is worth $30 and is created by the People's Association, is bounded by a metal frame that represents the Singapore spirit and signifies Singaporeans' efforts in working together for the progress of the nation.
A Yew Tee resident of over 12 years, Mr Azman Ab Jalil, 45, told The New Paper: "Since I got it last week, my wife has already used it two times. She puts the dishes in it and takes them to our relatives.
"It's very practical because we can just put the food in the slots (layers) and carry everything together."
