Headless body of woman discovered floating off island in Penang

A group of trawler fishermen made a shocking discovery when they found a headless body of a woman floating about nine nautical miles southwest off Pulau Kendi, a small island in Penang on Tuesday (Nov 4).
The incident was reported to the authorities.
No identification papers were found on the woman.
According to the authorities, initial investigations revealed the body had been in the sea for over two weeks.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
