Is it worth forking out more for SIA premium economy seats? We break it down for you
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has introduced a new class of seats.
No, it's not first class plus plus. It's premium economy class, a step up from cattle class.
But while bookings started from Tuesday, it's only available for flights after August 8, and only for flights to Sydney for now.
The carrier will be launching it for Beijing, New Delhi, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, London, Mumbai, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Zurich flights in the later part of the year and early next year.
What perks can you expect? More meal choices, more beverage choices including champagne, additional stowage space, priority check-in and priority baggage handling, among others.
How does this compare with economy, business and first class? We break it down for you.
