Singaporean driver trapped in car after Causeway crash
A Singapore registered rental car crashed into the railway tracks along the Causeway yesterday morning.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the accident happened on the Malaysian side of the Causeway at around 4.30am, and involved a Singaporean, in his 30s, who suffered minor injuries.
Five fellow motorists worked to free the driver as he was initially trapped in the mangled car.
The car came to a halt on the water pipes managed by Singapore's Public Utilities Board, the national water agency.

It is believed that the driver had lost control while on his way back to Singapore.
The first train leaving Woodlands at 5.30am was delayed till 6.30am. It was carrying about 320 passengers, Woodlands train station staff told Shin Min.
Full train service resumed by 7am.
