Kagawa's greatest miss
Shinji Kagawa is one of the biggest names in the Japan national team.
But the Borussia Dortmund star was guilty of a terrible miss in the Blue Samurai’s 3-0 win over Cambodia in their World Cup qualifier on Thursday.
Kagawa’s chance came in the first half, when the ball was fired across the face of goal and he seemed almost certain to score from just two metres out.
However, he failed to make a clean connection and the Cambodian goalkeeper gathered the ball comfortably.
Luckily, Kagawa made amends for his blunder by netting Japan’s third goal, after earlier strikes from Keisuke Honda and Maya Yoshida.
